Children’s Ministries
Rev. Danny Karr, Children's Minister
We at Royal Baptist Church value our children as a blessing from the Lord. We are blessed with an abundant and active Children’s program. The following list contains some of the activities.
The Kids of the Kingdom (Nursery)
Preschool Ministries seeks to provide the highest quality nursery so parents can enjoy the worship services with confidence that their children are in a safe and positive atmosphere. Annette Moore is Nursery Director.

The pastor has a special time for our children each Sunday morning during our worship service. After the Children’s Sermon, the children are dismissed to go to one of the following programs:

1. Children’s Church is divided into two age groups—one for pre-school and a second group for Kindergarten. Both groups enjoy creative learning activities centered on Biblical truth.

2. Power Praise is a worship service for children in 1st—6th grade. Our Children’s Minister, Rev. Danny Karr leads Power Praise. He teaches Bible truths and helps the children prepare for “big church”.
Activities
Our Children’s Choir currently meets on Sunday nights at 5:00 PM.
We have AWANA for 3 year olds—6th grade on Wednesday nights from 6:30—8:00 p.m. during the school year. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Tim 2:15). The program is divided into three sections: Handbook time, Council time, and Game time.
Children's Camp - Rockridge Children's Camp is July 28 - 31 for ages 9-12. Registration forms are available after April.
Note: Camps, skate parties, Vacation Bible School, day trips and Sunday School round out the very active Children’s program at Royal Baptist Church.
